“ Success is something you determine on your own terms. No one else’s

Others might perceive you as successful (or not), but that sense of achievement or

contentment in yourself is a completely personal victory.” – Katherine Mackenzie-Smith

May I ask; success, what does that look like for you? Do you know? If you don’t really have an answer or if you’re sitting there with a confused look on your face and an “ummm….” on your tongue, then I’m going to usher you towards this fabulous eBook;

An Introvert’s Guide to Creating Inner Calm, Outer Quiet and an Exceptionally Beautiful Life

Katherine and I worked together last year when this book was in planning and production mode as she wanted to capture some branding imagery that would not only update the look of her website but also provide her with authentic photographs to use throughout this book. And, she was just such a joy to work with! Even as a self-proclaimed introvert she trusted me to coax her sweet and bubbly essence out and the images are truly beautiful!

Once her book was finished, Katherine gifted me a copy and it completely blew me away. This book is a true gem for any person, whether you’re an introvert or not, there are a whole heap of lessons inside it’s pages that are bound to provide lots of ah-ha moments.

I’d like to share one of mine as this particular activity really struck a cord with me. As you know, I’m in the business of being visual; I work with lots of amazing women entrepreneurs, creating a unique visual brand for their business. I’m such a visual person that for me to understand any concept I need to see it, when you tell me a story I’m picturing it in my head, when you’re trying to teach me something new I need to see how it’s done to fully understand how it works. Actually, according to Neil Fleming; 65% of people are mainly visual learners, in that they easily pick up information with their eyes.

Can you relate?

When I reached the exercise in the book on MEETING YOUR FUTURE SELF I got excited. This is exactly what I needed; a way to sit quietly and put my plans, dreams, desires into… PICTURES. Or to put it simply, this was an exercise in VISUALISATION.

What exactly is visualisation? According to Expert Enough it means; recreating all the images, sounds and feelings in your mind surrounding an activity in order to practice in a perfect environment. Brilliant huh!?

After all, fake it till you make it right? I completely believe in this statement. When you can see yourself doing something, when you can picture yourself in a particular place, when you can intricately imagine the person that you are, you will meet these intentions without question. When you stand tall in the belief that you can do something, even if you haven’t mastered it yet, you eventually will if you can visualise it!

Photographs are powerful but visualisation is the commanding officer. WHY? Because your mind doesn’t know the difference between what’s real and what’s imaginary. If you imagine it, see it, feel it than your mind believes it’s real!

If this idea sparks your curiosity, get your hands on this guide from Katherine. You can buy it HERE. It takes the process to the excerpt level and it’s seriously awesome!

Want to simply give it a try? The guys at Expert Enough have written this great guide: [You can also read more about it over on their blog] or simply download this and give it a go…
