Yes, absolutely! I travel all over Sydney and Newcastle to photograph. This year I’m travelling to other parts of Australia too – like Coffs Harbour and Melbourne – to photograph some wonderful people.

Outside of Australia? There are 2 ways that could work:
• Bring me to you. I’m happy to jump on a plane to wherever you need me to be.
• Or maybe I’m heading to you already. As a wanderluster I travel far & wide… when I’m on the road I’m happy to take a photography detour to reach you.

Ah! Two of the most important questions. I have an extensive process (though it doesn’t feel like it because it’s really fun!) to help you answer these very important questions. The more we get to know each other, the better my understanding of you and what you’re after… Then I can best advise on how we create this for you. I also work with amazing experts in these fields and where ever possible, I bring them on board too.

What does the initial Skype session entail?

The first Skype session happens BEFORE you make a commitment to me – I hope I’ll be the photographer for you but I know I’m not the photographer for everyone. I trust that if I’m right for you, you’ll know! The main aim for this Skype session is to connect. I want to get to know who you are and what your business is all about. In this session I answer all your questions, explain the process in detail and share ideas of how we can create something special for you. After the Skype session, you have a little homework. It involves playing around on Pinterest so it’s really, really fun! The journey then begins…

How long does it take to receive the images?

After the shoot, please allow up to 3 weeks for me to carefully and lovingly edit your images. I view every image taken from the shoot and select the very best. On average there are around 60-90 images to showcase, though this depends on the length of our shoot together. You receive your own private gallery where you can view all the images and select the ones you wish to have. And finally, I send you the digital files via Dropbox. Your image gallery will be ready for your viewing within the week after we shoot together however, the editing time frame will be after this.

When and where will the photo shoot happen?

Working with natural light means playing outside. To make the most of the natural light, I shoot in the early morning or late afternoon. This is the best lighting for skin tones and gently capturing expression. (We don’t want you squinting in the brightness of the midday sun!) Plus there are fewer people around, which makes for more personalised and memorable images.

Choosing the location is half the fun! The goal is to find the perfect location that gives you the best result. I’ve photographed at the beach, the park, the city, an office… I’ve even set up a studio in my own home! I’m based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches but am happy to travel if that suits you best – interstate or even overseas.

Who owns the rights?

As you are a brand and a business, we operate a little differently with branding images. Sol + Co own the rights to use the images for business promotional material, however Sol + Co will not sell or market your images to any third party. You as a business hold exclusive rights to the images and are free to use them however you wish. The images may not however, be sold to a third party without consent from Sol + Co. Terms and conditions are emailed to you in full for reference. Please just ask if you have any queries or questions. Happy to answer anything.
